I realize this is not seeing a. vehicle at its best, but it is loud, bouncy, and plasticky. Overall a surprisingly crappy car.

dat road noise
The interior in general is really crappy. Though it is surprisingly roomy and decent for hauling crap.

I don't hate the Prius interior. The seats are comfy enough and it's fine for what it is; essentially a compact car. Less loud than my Subaru, for sure.

What, you’re surprised that cabs aren’t done up in soft Corinthian leather?

I took my first two cab rides last week in about 10 years. One Sienna, on e Prius V. Equally crappy in their own way, but the Ethiopian cabbie raved about his 42mpg average that week, and how much cheaper it makes it for people who run commercial vehicles (he was an owner/operator or whatever the cabs call the equivalent). I was mostly amazed that taxis all have TV and credit card swipers now. Anything to help you avoid interactions with the driver, I guess.

Both of the Ubers I took in NYC were. One of them was a Prius, too.

Try being 6'3 in the front seat, you have no sense of head or leg room whatsoever. First time I ever felt claustrophobic was in a prius taxi.

Yeah, mine didn't work and we had to call my card number in by phone. Still nice to have it there in theory.

My assessment as well.

The fabric in mine was pretty soft. I don't know if it was from Corinth though.

I have not yet done uber. I need to try it.

It was like a modern day Chevette, which also got the job done.

Fortunately I am under 6 ft.
